Over 300 people there today to celebrate this 65th Anniversary including former principals, board members, faculty, students, community members — Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, Ward 4 Councilmember Shirley Scott and PCC Chancellor Lee Lambert. Weihen Chen from the Chinese Consulate General in LA spoke, awards were given to college students who passed Chinese AP classes, and various students performed dances of different levels, plays, songs and poetry from the Tucson Chinese School. A delicious Chinese meal of rice, soy sauce chicken, lo mein, egg rolls, tofu vegetables was served thereafter. Congrats to this Chinese community for this celebration.
