The Democratic Party also provides poll observers for Voter Protection – Democrats.org – Democratic National Committee. There is also the Voting Rights Institute – Democratic National Committee.

University of Arizona law students are also recruiting poll observers for Election Protection.
Nate Wade is a third-year law student and Pima County co-chairperson for Election Protection 2012. Election Protection is a non-partisan organization that sends volunteers to the polls on Election Day to assist any voters who feel disenfranchised or had problems when they attempted to vote.
They need volunteers for 2 or 4-hour shifts throughout the day while the polls are open. Volunteers will just need to attend a training session, of which several are offered next week. Interested persons may sign up to volunteer by going to http://www.866ourvote.org/, selecting Volunteer from the menu at the top of the page and selecting the blue "Volunteer Opportunities for Lawyers, Paralegals and Law Students." You can register, and will be routed to the Pima County page where you can also sign up for a training time.
