  1. Successful AAPI event (about 60 people, even from Phoenix) with only candidate Mark Cardenas absent from the list above. Also attending were TUSD board candidate Adam Ragan and Alma Hernandez, LD 3 House candidate. Welcome by Elaine Lim, So AZ coordinator of AAPI Dems, with encouragement from Sierra Yamanaka to work hard on the Democratic races, esp. CD 2. 6 baskets of goodies were raffled away to lucky winners. Even I joined this Caucus for 2018. Delicious Hawaiian food served, esp. spam musibi, kahlua pork sliders, andagi (Okinawan donuts) and wine.

  2. Today at Island Plate Lunch. Come meet the Dem candidates for 2018, statewise and for the AZ legislature. Pls. RSVP if possible for the head count.
