IMA Candidate forum

“The IMA is hosting a candidate forum on Monday, May 21st at the historic Dunbar Pavilion in Tucson. All 3 Democratic gubernatorial candidates are scheduled to participate, as well as candidates for U.S. Senate and other statewide offices. All are welcome.”

UPDATE: info from Connie DeLarge of African American Dem Caucus:

“This candidate forum is put on by IMA (Interdenominational Ministers Aliance). The candidates participating are the statewide candidates that have primaries, (US)  Senate, Governor, Secretary of State, Arizona Corporate Commission and Superintendent of  (Public) Instructions.  10 candidates will be there. ”

Carolyn’s note: From FB posting Deedra Abboud (U.S. Senate) and Kelly Fryer (Governor) are 2 of the 10 who will be attending.

    David Schapira for Superintendent of Public Instruction
    Leslie Pico for Sec. of State
    State Senator Katie Hobbs for Sec. of State
    Kiana Sears for Corporation Commission
    State Senator Steve Farley for Governor
    Kelly Fryer for Governor
    Bill Mundell for Corporation Commission
    Sandra Kennedy for Corporation Commission
    Kathy Hoffman for Superintendent of Public Instruction

    Quite a roomful of Arizona statewide candidates, all have primaries on August 28, 2018. 145 people in attendance. Organizers did state that Mark Robert Gordon (for Sec. of State) was also invited.
