  1. Listened to keynote speaker Zaira Livier speak about as being “finally seen”, being previously invisible as a DACA, poor, a teen Mom, woman of color (Hispanic). She spoke of her struggle to become a warrior (though reluctant), that feminism is revolutionary, liberation of women. How can we free ourselves from the system, with goal being justice & equality for all? Zaira talked passionately about neoliberalism, that “feminism is mass construction, mass love, ungendered freedom.” After her keynote she talked about imprisoned Alejandra Pablos in Eloy (ICE detention), #Release Ale. Several workshops to select from the list all day at the UA, about 65 women and men attending.
