“On March 14th, we walked out of class to demand action. On March 24th, we gathered to March for Our Lives. On April 20th, we will bring the fight to the doorstep of our representatives. We, the students of Rincon University High School, will walk out in solidarity with a national initiative to call for comprehensive gun violence prevention legislation.”

On April 20th at 2:00 pm, we will gather in the southern parking lot of our campus (very limited parking available). The march will begin at 2:05 and continue south on Arcadia and West on Broadway.
The march will culminate in a rally outside of Martha McSally’s office in which student speakers will address an audience of their peers as well as community members, who are invited to join.

Following the student speakers, canvassers in the crowd will register voters and collect cards to be filled out by students and delivered by a delegation of student organizers to McSally’s office. The cards will include information on the election year in which the student will be eligible to vote and what McSally would need to change in order to get their vote.

Please bring posters and water and be ready to march!
Community members may wish to meet the March at Rep. McSally’s office where parking is available – 4400 E. Broadway.”
