Sentinel Building

Tucson, AZ 85709

“TRGG’s role as an advocate for better City government will be tested by whether we are successful in leading a grassroots review of the current plans and coming forward with ideas for making them relevant in today’s world. We see the training on the 19th to be the first step in improving citizen’s input into City policies related to planning for the future.

TRRG forum on Neighborhood Plans: “Are Neighborhood/Area Plans Relevant in Tucson Today?”

Monday March 19, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM

Sentinel building, 1st floor, at the Community Resource Campus, 310 N Commerce Park Loop (off N. Bonita Ave between W. St. Mary’s Rd and West Congress St, just west of the Santa Cruz River).

This second TRRG forum on Neighborhood and Area Plans has evolved into a training session for neighborhood associations covered by a plan to help them in the evaluation of their own plans. The focus will be on providing the tools needed for neighborhood associations to do a self-study to assess the relevancy of their neighborhood plans.

Neighborhood associations who have responded to the invitation and are sending a representative for the training will receive a packet of information specific to their neighborhood to use for conducting their evaluation. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe.”  (Tucson Residents for Responsive Government)
