  1. Wonderful concert tonight to a full house at the lovely Fox Theater, starting off with the rousing Mexican National Hymn, then the melodious Mexico 1910 Suite, and the majestic El Pais de Las Montanas (of Mexico). Opera singers in Baritone, Mezzo Soprano and Soprano impressed the audience with their songs in German, French and Italian. Especially well done was Habanera by Mezzo Soprano Diana Peralta and a Don Giovanni duet, followed by 3 popular Mexican songs at the end. Music Director Linus Lerner spoke of “bridges not walls” with Mexico, then Mexican Consul Ricardo Pineda waved the Mexican flag on stage with his family. Mariachi music closed out the concert.
