GOP ‘Hunger Games’ Presidential Debate watch parties (Tucson)

the-hunger-games-kindle-featured-imageThe GOP “Hunger Games” Presidential Debates resume tonight from the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California, on CNN.

The ghost of Ronald Reagan will be weeping at the sight of the asshats that the GOP has running for president in 2016.

The main event is at 8 p.m. EDT will feature the same 10 candidates as the first one  — front-runner Donald Trump, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, neurosurgeon Ben Carson, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Ohio Gov. John Kasich — as well as businesswoman Carly Fiorina, who was added to the field after the wusses at CNN caved under pressure from GOPropagandists in the media to add a woman, whether she met CNN’s qualifications or not (so Tea-Publicans do believe in affirmative action when it suits their needs.)

Lindsey Graham and former New York Gov. George Pataki.  Former Governor Goodhair Rick Perry of Texas hung up his spurs last week, and former Governor Jim Gilmore of Virginia failed to even qualify for the CNN debate, polling at “0” (zero) percent. Get a clue, Dude.

Pima County Democrats have two debate watch parties from which you can choose to attend:

Wednesday, September 16, 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.: Drinking Liberally Republican presidential primary debate watch, at Chuy’s mesquite broiler, 7101 E. 22nd Street, Tucson. We will be gathering for the 5:00 p.m. debate, but anybody who wants to come earlier and watch the “kiddie table” debate (3:00 p.m.) is welcome to do so. We will be in the “indoor patio” i.e. the westernmost room. Note that Wednesday is “Fajita Night” — yummy fajita platter, on special. There is also a self-service chips-and-salsa bar. We will have another batch of “buzzword bingo” cards. Bring your pencil.

Wednesday, September 16, 5:00 p.m.: Pima County Young Democrats Republican presidential primary debate watch, at The Shanty, 401 E. 9th Street, Tucson. The projector will be running, the drinks will be flowing and most importantly the laughs will be non stop! Debate starts at 5:00pm this time but come swing by anytime!
