Hey tea baggers – size really does matter

Memo to Faux News: When you promise a phenomenon is sweeping the nation, you need to do better than boast about "hundreds" of tea baggers in Boston (h/t Daily Kos), home of the original Boston Tea Party:

Hundredsgather

Let me whip out some photos you may recall from last year's election.

October 18, 2008. Barack Obama attracted 100,000 people at a Saturday rally in St. Louis, Missouri, his biggest crowd ever at a U.S. event.

The crowd assembled under the Gateway Arch on a sunny Saturday afternoon to hear Obama speak about taxes and slam the Republicans on economic issues.

October 26, 2008. Barack Obama standing in front of more than 100,000 supporters in Civic Center park, in Denver Colorado.

"What we need right now is a real debate about how to fix our economy and help middle class families," Obama said. "But that's not what we're getting from the other side… [Sen. McCain] even called me a socialist for suggesting that we focus on tax cuts, not for corporations and the wealthy, but for the middle class."

I'll bet this causes some serious crowd envy for tea baggers. Size really does matter.
