The Family Stone headlines this year’s Hippiefest tour, which will feature Rick Derringer, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels and Badfinger featuring Joey Molland.
Rooted in a funky sound that is all their own, The Family Stone has been performing around the world since 1966. The band is best known for their hit songs “Everyday People,” “Dance to The Music,” “If You Want Me to Stay,” “I Want To Take You Higher” and “Family Affair.”
Guitarist, vocalist and Grammy-award winning producer Rick Derringer scored chart success with his songs “Hang on Sloopy” and “Rock n Roll, Hoochie Koo.” Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels are known for their high-energy stage presence. Hit songs like “Devil with a Blue Dress On,” “Sock It To Me, Baby!” and “Jenny Take A Ride” make them an audience favorite.
Badfinger featuring Joey Molland have a string of worldwide top 10 hit songs including: “Come & Get It,” “ No Matter What,” “Day After Day,” “Baby Blue,” and “Without You.
