Check their website, www.cycloviatucson.org for the event schedule — lots to do, including the annual GABA Swap Meet on E. 7th St. x 5th Avenue (near 6th Avenue Hub on the map above). Hours for that event are 8 to 2 p.m.

Here’s the link to all the event listings along N. 4th Avenue: http://www.cycloviatucson.org/activity-partner

Every year (now twice a year) thousands of people on bikes, trikes, unicycles,  roller blades, skateboards and by foot (with wagons, strollers & dogs) take to the streets sans motorized vehicles.  Enjoy the fall weather outdoors.

And mark your 2015 calendar for April 19 for Cyclovia Tucson in downtown to South Tucson.

  1. Hundreds & hundreds of bicyclists riding the route right now for Cyclovia Tucson — on bikes, trikes, tandems, recumbents, with trailers, skateboarders, and some walkers/hikers with kids in wagons and strollers. I bicycled farther than I usually ever go, checked out the GABA swap meet, saw lots of community folks at their booths along the route such as artist Mel Dominguez, Dwight Metzler with Gloo Factory, Brian Chanecka – librarian at Himmel Library. Cyclovia goes on today (with great biking weather) till 3 p.m.
