Learn to journal about gardening

Marge White Pellegrino is the new Writer-in-Residence at the Pima County Public Library. Here’s a love letter she wrote to the library:

“The library is where I found tools to build my Tucson community.  During this summer that marks my 38th year as a customer, I am serving as the Writer-in-Residence. You can visit with me at Woods Memorial Library or Nanini Library if I might be helpful in sharing writing resources or encouragement.  And watch for writing workshops at locations around the system.”

Carolyn’s note: I attended one of Marge’s writing workshops last Fall  and another lunch time writing session in June, both at the Joel D. Valdez Main library. Marge is just full of supportive ideas, passion and creativity about putting your thoughts into writing, journaling, reflecting, etc. Call ahead and make a reservation with her at either Woods or Nanini branch libraries, during her office hours.

  1. Thanks for sharing. The response to the residency has been amazing. So many people with such interesting projects and passion who are writing in Tucson! The Woods appointments are filled — but there are still some openings at Nanini before the residency ends for one-on-one appointments at the end of August. Watch for upcoming writing workshops scheduled through the end of the year.

    • Wow, so many people wanting to learn about writing and journaling at Woods Library. I know the Pima County public library will be posting your other workshops, but you can always send me info via FB as well. Thanks.
