With special events across the country, and free admission to all 412 national parks from August 25 through August 28, the National Park Service is encouraging everyone to #FindYourPark / #EncuentraTuParque for the centennial!”

Perhaps one of my favorites (of course) is Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii, where there are two live vents of the volcano erupting. The 2nd one Pu’u O’o just recently in July entered the Pacific Ocean, so public views are available now by hiking into the area, by boat, plane or helicopter. Some of the views are breathtaking.
