200 protesters of all ages, ethnicities were at Ronstadt Transit Center tonight to exercise their freedoms of speech and assembly, against the failure of the Ferguson Missouri grand jury to indict Police Officer Darren Wilson in the August 9, 2014 killing of 18 year old Michael Brown.

Over 25 police officers were present surrounding the area on all four corners of 6th Avenue and Congress St., with 3 police cars, a segway, motorcycles.  The protest started at 6 p.m. with lots of signs “Black Lives Matter”, “No More Killer Cops”, “Stop racial profiling”, etc.

The crowd chanted from 6 to 6:50 p.m. “Hands up, don’t shoot”, and “No Justice, no peace” on the NE corner of Congress/6th Avenue, then took to the street marching west with their signs and banners .  Apparently they turned around at Church St. then went up north on 4th Avenue, with more police officers barricading streets to allow their movement.

  1. It is my earnest hope that
there will be bring a stop to all ” wrongful ” murders committed by Police and Security Departments across the USA of African American People.
The police officer who shot Michael Brown was not indicted and was asked to resign without severance however, I am hoping he does not get hired in any other precincts anywhere in the world. He should be finished as an officer for good. It is my belief that he initially handled the situation wrongfully which set off the chain of events.
