Plan TucsonThe Tucson City Council is holding a public hearing on Plan Tucson (City of Tucson Genral Plan 2013) on Tuesday, June 11, at 5:30 p.m., at Tucson City Hall (item is #9 on the Mayor & Council agenda). For more information see CITY OF TUCSON GENERAL PLAN 2013 website.

This public hearing is a last opportunity
for anyone interested to provide comments on the public participation
process and/or the overall document prior to the Mayor and Council
making a decision as to whether the Plan should be adopted and put on
the ballot for this November's General Election.

The Final Plan Tucson Draft, which is now available for review, reflects
staff recommendations for revisions approved by the Planning Commission
at the February 27, 2013 meeting. The recommendations for revisions were
based largely on more than 800 comments provided by approximately 100
commenters representing agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and the
general public.
