Saturday, April 7, 9:00 a.m.: The Arizona César E. Chávez Holiday Coalition Presents the 17th Annual March and Rally. Meet at Pueblo High School, march east on 44th St., south on South 6th Ave. to Rudy Garcia Park (formerly Rodeo Park). Student Art Contest with four age categories: K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and High School. Winner will be announced at the March & Rally. The contest will run from February 12th through March 9th. This year we are encouraging marches to join us with banners which represents your organization, social group or school whom you will be marching with. We want to see your art, vision and inspiration represented at the march honoring Cesar Chavez, Dolores Huerta and the farmworkers movement. We will also announce the winners of our Arte Contest. We can’t wait to see what our students come up with!

I Stand With Planned Parenthood luncheon – Flagstaff

Our Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Eve Espey is the Chairperson of the Department of Ob/Gyn, Professor on the faculty of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Family Planning, and Family Planning fellowship director at the University of New Mexico. She is President Elect of the Society of Family Planning and is the Medical Advisory Committee Chair for the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy. She is the Chair of the American College of OB-GYN’s work group for Long Acting Reversible Contraception. Individual tickets are $60 each if purchased by March 26. Ticket price will increase to $75 after March 26 and will need to be purchased no later than March 30. Tables of 8 are $480. Each ticket purchase includes membership in PPAA, the public policy arm of Planned Parenthood. Spring Fling is the largest student-run carnival in the nation attracting over 25,000 guests. Spring Fling provides over 35 rides and games to attendees, over 20 different food booths with a wide variety.
