Sunday, October 2, 1:00 p.m.: Pima County Democratic Party Election Integrity Workshop, at Pima County Democratic Party HQ, 4639 E. 1st Street, Tucson. This is a chance for those of you who were unable to attend the summer workshops to learn about how vote processing works and what we are doing to protect the vote and too volunteer for the November election. Volunteer opportunities include watching the Recorder’s office validate signatures, watching the Elections Department process ballots, watching the receiving of ballots Election Night, and participating in the hand count the Saturday after the Election. The State Party will be looking for volunteers to observe both at early voting sites and at polling places on Election Day, so there will be new opportunities.
