DCSRA’s Annual Dinner and Auction ‘Believe in Blue’

Thursday, November 5, 5:00 p.m.: The Democratic Club of the Santa Rita Area hosts its annual dinner and auction, “Believe in the Blue,” in the ballroom of the Madera Clubhouse in Quail Creek. Enjoy a gala evening with a wide assortment of live and silent auction offerings. Our very special auctioneer is David Fitzsimmons, the noted cartoonist, humor columnist, and blogger for the Arizona Daily Star. It should be an enjoyable evening! A cash bar and hors d’oeuvres will be available. Dinner will be a choice of salmon with buerre blanc or stuffed loin of pork filled with spinach, polenta, garlic, mozzarella cheese finished with a maderia tomato demi glaze. All Souls Procession Weekend – Tucson

Saturday, November 7 – Sunday November, 8: All Souls Procession Weekend, gather at at 6th Avenue & 7th Street, procession to Congress Street and Avenida del Convento, in Tucson, AZ. Many Mouths One Stomach presents the All Souls Procession Weekend: Procession of Little Angels and Night of the Living Fest (Saturday), and All Souls Procession (Sunday). The Procession is a 2-mile (roughly 2-hour), human-powered, one-of-a-kind ceremonial walk through downtown Tucson that ends with a celebratory ritual featuring the burning of a gigantic urn filled with messages, prayers, and remembrances provided by participants near and far. Friday, April 1: Each presidential candidate, or that candidate’s authorized representative(s), must file with the Arizona Democratic Party Chair by April 1, 2016 by 5:00 p.m., a list of all such candidates he or she has approved.

Tuesday, April 19: New York Primary.

Saturday, April 23, 8:00 a.m.: Arizona Democratic Party Caucus for delegate selection to the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Arizona is allocated 43 district-level delegates. Arizona has chosen to allocate all of its alternatives at the at-large level. District-level delegates shall be elected at a congressional district level caucus on April 16, 2016, following the Presidential Preference Election. Only elected and appointed precinct committeepersons in your congressional district who support your presidential preference (candidate) will be allowed to vote. All precinct committeepersons that wish to participate and district delegate candidates who filed their nomination form must register their attendance during the registration period of 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. A roster of precinct committee persons shall be available for inspection during the entire caucusing period.
