I attended the first grand opening of Fed by Threads (located at 435 E. 9th Street just east of 4th Avenue) in Nov. 2012. They are now moving their store downtown to 350 E. Congress to the ground floor of that newish parking garage across from The Cadence apts. And they’re having another big party/grand opening on Saturday May 17, 12 noon to 6 p.m. to celebrate:

If you think feeding food-insecure Americans is important, supporting fair-wage manufacturing jobs for Americans, reducing our carbon footprint, and/or supporting positive body image especially for women and girls but guys too, then come for Fed By Threads Flagship Store Grand Opening on the famous Congress Street near Hotel Congress and Gio Taco! We feed 12 emergency meals via Food Banks like Community Food Bank per item we design and sell! We just crossed 137,928 emergency meals fed to food insecure Americans! We are going to (have) snacks, drinks, some live music, and a fabulous time. Bring a friend or two!
