From Perimeter Bicycling website for 106, 76, 54, 37 and 28 mile rides :

I apologize for the late posting but I have a good excuse. Been sick with bronchitis this week, so Even Bloggers Get the Blues.  I also missed the Tugo Bike Share launch yesterday at Catalina Park.

Congrats to all riders.

Posted today from Perimeter Bicycling website:

Congrats to all who rode in the 106, 76, 54,  37 and 28 mile rides today, November 19, 2016.  The 28 mile ride was new this year.

Save the date of November 18, 2017 for next year’s rides.

Congratulations again on all who rode in these races!  It takes a lot of endurance and athleticism to ride in El Tour de Tucson.

It’s time for El Tour de Tucson 2014

Participants cycle main event distances of 104, 75, 55 or 40 miles, or choose the Fun Ride 12 or 5 miles or a fun 1/4 mile activity course too! Main event routes show off Tucson’s beautiful vistas of its local mountain ranges – three rising over 9,000 feet- complete with the backdrop of the majestic Saguaro cactus, icon of the Sonoran Desert. Course profiles range from flat to rolling or moderately hilly. The 40-mile route is basically flat and has become a great family affair or a perfect first event for beginners! Two often dry, but sandy, river crossings will greet 104-mile riders, while 75-milers experience just one. No crossings for 60 or 40-mile participants. All routes offer aid stations with water and snacks spaced about 7-10 miles apart, full police support at intersections and plenty of morale-boosting volunteers and spectators. The Fun Ride offers easy and scenic routes along the Santa Cruz River multi-use path.
