Organizing for Action, along with our partner organizations including Mayor Against Illegal Guns, Moms Demand Action, Tucson Community Committee Against Gun Violence and Arizonans for Gun Safety, are sponsoring a “We Have not Forgotten Community Action and Candlelight Vigil” on Friday, April 12th at 6:30 p.m. at the Cañada del Oro Christina Taylor Green Memorial River Park. The park is located on the west side of Shannon Road and is best accessed from the south due to construction on Magee Road.  There is parking in the lot of the NW YMCA or NW PCC Campus, across the street.   Please cross ONLY at the traffic signal located at the PCC entrance.

This event is a continuation of our action demanding that Congress act now to reduce gun violence by passing universal background checks.

Please bring your own candles, glow sticks or “candle app-equipped” smart phones.
Let’s come together and show that we have not forgotten Tucson, Aurora, or Sandy Hook!
