Arizona Response Rate to US Census at 58.8%

Have you filled out your 2020 Census form? The Census taking started in March 2020, to record the number of people in your household on April 1, 2020.  Arizona’s response rate as of today is 58.8%, behind the National average of 62.1%.

Minnesota has the highest response rate at 71.6% with Puerto Rico (Trust Territory) at only 24.9% the lowest.  All responses are due by October 31, 2020, unless extended.

If you want to see how other US states are doing, here’s the response rate link with a map in shades of blue and brown:

  1. The census is so simple to do that it’s almost laughable. DO IT PEOPLE!! Be a citizen. There’s no excuse. We’re all at home! Takes no time at all.

    • It’s quite interesting to see the nationwide response rate, state of state and US Territories. Wonder why Minnesota is so high, and it has been for weeks. Thanks for your comment. The Census only took us about 10 minutes to do.

      • Every site I visit I make this comment… and I made sure that my family all did their part. NOT doing this simple task is why we can’t have nice things. It’s infuriating. Once every 10 years should not be hard

        • Thanks for your comments. I don’t know why it’s so hard to fill out the survey, but I’ve been on several town halls with minority group members saying that their population doesn’t trust the government and is reluctant to reply. That’s probably why we aren’t even at 60% yet, and it’s been months since this started. And if you take a look at the nationwide map of response rates, the Northern states are doing better than the South.
