Our own Daniel Hernandez, who played such a critical role in Gabby Giffords' survival on January 8, has published a Young Readers book through Simon & Schuster, They Call Me a Hero: A Memoir of my Youth. (More about the book at another time.) He's at the beginning of a book tour right now. Today he had a segment on the Note to Self series on CBS this Morning. It's quite something, worth a watch.
UPDATE: Daniel is scheduled to be on Piers Morgan on CNN tonight (Tuesday) and maybe Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC as well. Today is the first day of his book tour, and he's a very busy guy.
