“Donald Trump Froze like a Deer in the Headlights when the Coronavirus Came”

The latest ad from the Biden campaign paints a damning picture of Donald Trump as a person who “froze like a Deer in the Headlights” when faced with the Coronavirus Public Health Emergency.

The one approximately one-minute ad blasts Mr. Trump for ignoring the threats, alarms, and warning signs of the virus for months, saying he was:

  • “Unprepared.
  • Indecisive.
  • Frozen.
  • Paralyzed by his fear of offending the Chinese Government and losing his precious trade deal.
  • Panicked at what a stock market crash would mean to his reelection.”

The ad concludes stating:

“He (Trump)  failed to act and the virus got out of control and shut down the nation, crushed the economy with nearly 100.000 dead, 38 million unemployment claims and rising.”

“Donald Trump wasn’t a President. He was a deer in headlights, too scared to act, too panicked to tell the truth, and too weak to lead.”

“A President who can’t handle a crisis is no President at all.”

This will be the front page of the New York Times on Sunday, May 24, 2020:

Where was Donald Trump?

Playing golf at one of his golf resorts in Virginia.

Remember when he said he would be working so hard at the White House he would not have time to play golf? Watch below

The Voters will as the death toll mounts, the people suffer, and the economy craters because of how this President reacted in the first days and weeks of the Coronavirus.

And for those who say Obama played just as much golf as Trump, this is the one area (unlike the economy) where the Liar in Chief has surpassed his predecessor. Please click here to see the Politifact link that explains that point.

Following Mr. Trump’s weekend excursion from “working hard” to deal with the pandemic (right), his Virginia resort will probably be sending the inflated bill to the taxpayers to pay like an earlier trip to one of his establishments in Scotland.
