Election updates for Pima County

Posted by AzBlueMeanie:

Several of you have asked "how many ballots remain to be counted?" and ""where can I find this information?"

Daily updates are posted by 6 p.m. on Pima County’s home page,
www.pima.gov
, with the total number of ballots counted that day.

An update is not expected Sunday, however, since the Elections
Department does not anticipate having a large enough batch for
processing and counting.

It is posted in the upper right-hand corner of the web page:

The Ron Barber – Martha McSally congressional race is not the only contest that is razor thin.

For those of you who are cursing potholes and the condition of Tucson's streets (because the state of Maricopa stole all of our HURF funds and revenue sharing funds), the City of Tucson's bond proposal to sell bonds for road improvements, not raise taxes, Proposition 409, is currently failing by less than 50 votes:

YES   64,936

NO    64,983

This is the result of ignorant voters who do not know the difference between bonds and taxes. The next time you have to get a front end alignment or repair your vehicle's suspension, you know who to blame — and it's not your city government. For many of you, it's the reflection in your mirror.
