Special Primary Election set for July 15, 2025 in CD 7. Vote wisely on or before then. This is the open seat vacated by the death on March 13, 2025 of Congressman Raul Grijalva, Adelita’s father. Adelita served 20 years on the TUSD Governing Bd. , then over 4 years on Pima County Bd. of Supervisors (District 5). Hernandez served 6 years on Sunnyside School District Governing Bd., 6 years in AZ House, and ran for CD 6 in August 2022.
