    Court Night

    Tuesday, October 16, 2018

Twice a year the Superior Court, in conjunction with the Pima County Bar Association, offers Court Night – free presentations designed to educate the public about legal issues and our local legal system. The sessions are offered twice each Court Night date so that you can choose a time that is convenient to attend or have an opportunity to catch two sessions.

We invite you to join us for a practical overview of the subject matters listed below:

    •  Divorce/Child Support/Paternity/Custody/Juvenile Law
    •  Probate/Guardianship/Conservatorship
    •  Debtor/Creditor and Landlord/Tenant

All Court Night presenters are lawyer-members of the Pima County Bar Association.  After a brief introduction to the topic, they will walk listeners through pertinent legal issues and common concerns, as well as provide printed materials regarding the subject at hand.  Additionally, the presenters will answer basic legal questions – but please note – specific cases will not be discussed, and no legal advice will be given.

We’ll also have representatives from the Child Support Division of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office available to answer questions and provide helpful information regarding your child support and/or obligation situation.

Other legal-system justice partners and court departments will be at the event as well, providing useful resources and assistance.  Additionally, we always have a representative from our Law Library on hand to answer questions and help explain the valuable forms and information the court makes available to the public online, or at low or no-cost in our law library.

    Session Times:

    • Session 1 – 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
    • Session 2 – 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm
