Learn what happens when development comes to neighborhoods. Who is affected is often not at the top of the list of considerations. Learn about who plans, who decides, who in the neighborhood is consulted and listened to and who is left out. Historically, when development decisions are made in Tucson several ethnic groups and income levels are affected; they must be at the table and part of the decision making. Speakers: Dr. Gary Pivo, Ann Chanecka, Betty Villegas and Marc Pinate. Moderator: Herschella Horton
Carolyn’s note: Betty Villegas is the former District 5 Pima County Supervisor (appointed in April 2020 to end of December 2020). Moderator Herschella Horton is a former AZ House member (1991 to 2001).
