Featuring Honorary Chair Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema and Keynote Speaker Actress Blythe Danner and honoring the Phoenix Union High School District!

Blythe DannerAward-winning actress Blythe Danner, who has achieved success across stage, screen, and television, will be our Keynote Speaker. Blythe takes action to support causes that are important to her. She has passionately advocated for environmental concerns for more than 40 years as a member of the Union of Concerned Scientists. She serves on the national Board of Advocates for Planned Parenthood. And since the death of her husband Bruce Paltrow from oral cancer, she has been very active with the Oral Cancer Foundation. We are thrilled to welcome her to Phoenix as this year’s luncheon speaker.

Krysten SinemaKyrsten Sinema serves as U.S. Representative from Arizona’s 9th congressional district, first elected in 2012. She has always been a strong supporter of women’s health and is thrilled to serve as the Luncheon’s Honorary Chair. She invites you to join her and Stand with Planned Parenthood!

We are honoring the Phoenix Union High School District who this past year voted to enact a district wide policy to include sexual health education in the curriculum.  The District was advised that they could not adopt a policy that was specifically inclusive of LGBTQ students- due to an antiquated and discriminatory state law.  Undaunted, the Board adopted a first-in-the-nation resolution calling for the repeal of Arizona’s outdated law and full inclusion for ALL students.  We are pleased to honor the school district’s courage and vision recognizing the importance of making sexuality education available to all the district’s students, regardless of their identity or orientation. Please join us in honoring them at this year’s Phoenix Luncheon!
