Carolyn’s note: What a long road this campaign and victory has been, from watching all those Democrats debate each other on TV, lots dropping out, then the primaries to determine finally that former VP Joe Biden had prevailed. And then the wait to see which woman he would select for his VP running mate. I had been promoting US Senator Kamala Harris, a tough prosecutor from California, plus being Asian/Black American was a huge asset. Then the nail-biting outcome of the General Election of Nov. 3, 2020, followed by President Donald Trump’s refusal to accept the results till just recently, after inciting rioters to take over the US Capitol on January 6. And this President was twice impeached by the U S House. What a journey this has been.
