Join us to hear from local experts in the field of healthcare. Our panelists will be speaking about care from the prospective of an aging population, new collaborative initiatives in Tucson concerning social determinants of health and end of life planning, health benefits and coverage. Experts confirmed include W. Mark Clark, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pima Council on Aging, Nancy Johnson, RN, PhD, CEO, El Rio Community Health Center. Also, on the panel will be health insurance executive, Julia Strange, V.P. for Community Benefit for Tucson Medical Center. She is an award winning advocate for patients, families and communities across the entire state.
The Historic Manning House houses the administrative offices of El Rio Community Health Center, a not-profit providing healthcare to 96,000 people in our community. Our Voter Education program coordinator, Brenda Goldsmith, El Rio Foundation’s Executive Director, and LWVGT board member, will host our presentation at the Manning House. An optional tour will follow the presentation.
