“The Mayors’ Summit is a conference with mayors from the region that include northern Mexico.
The purpose of this event is two-fold; 1. to provide a platform for Mayors of the Sonoran Desert region to collectively share and discuss their perspectives on the challenges we face as inhabitants as well as the areas of opportunities to create a brighter future and 2. to provide an opportunity for each city/town to share economic development information with the intent of spurring business growth in and amongst their area.
Potential Topics for Discussion include; Sustainability / Economic Growth / Tourism / Infrastructure / Jobs / Public Safety / Education / Affordable Housing / Trade / Ports of Entry / Healthcare / The Future of Politics”
20/per person (if registered prior to May 10)
$40/per person (if registered after May 10)
$10/per student (must present student ID at check-in)
Carolyn’s note: Which Mayors participating is not listed, but I assume Tucson Mayor Regina Romero will be part of this summit. She is the first Latina mayor elected to the City of Tucson, in Nov. 2019. Prior to that she was a City Councilmember in Tucson for 12 years and is married to CD 3 District Director Ruben Reyes, for Congressman Raul Grijalva.
