The April 7 meeting will include a series of presentations by the Finance and Risk Management staff about the budget process, the various County funds and the general governmental revenues and expenditures that are not assigned to particular departments.
At each meeting, department heads and elected officials will discuss:
• Requested operating department expenditures, revenues and operating transfers;
• Major programs and related services provided by the department and their associated costs;
• Significant changes between the adopted 2014-15 budget and requests contained within the 2015-16 budget;
• Major budget issues the department is facing in 2015-16; and
Requests for supplemental funding.
