Message from Ward 6 Councilman Steve Kozachik:

‘ll be kicking off the 2017 campaign (job application process) at the old Panda site on Broadway, just west of Tucson Boulevard. I ask you to come by, sign my petition, and take some with you to carry through your circle of friends and help me top out the number needed.

This campaign will be conducted in living rooms throughout the city with those of you who’ll host a coffee gathering. There, we’ll talk about the issues that matter most to you and do a lot of listening to one another. In recent campaigns, that has been a missing piece. On the 7th, we can begin to schedule those with you.”

Carolyn’s note:  This will be Steve’s 3rd bid for Councilman. He was first elected as a Republican in 2009 by defeating incumbent Democrat Nina Trasoff. He switched parties and then he ran four years ago unopposed.

    1. Lots of neighbors, friends, supporters showing up to sign Steve K’s petitions, take bumper stickers, eat Koz cupcakes, for the cause of re-election. His wife and some staffers present as well. Steve K has no opposition at this time for the Ward 6 Council office. Also up this year, Ward 3 and 5 Council seats. Several competitors already announcing in the open seat in Ward 3, Richard Fimbres likely to seek re-election in Ward 5.
