    1. Prof. Buzier (wearing “Make America Think Again” blue cap) spoke about natural climate assessments: The Science/The Impacts/The Choices, about mitigation to change practices for our grandchildren, who will be alive in 22nd century. He said that temperatures projected to continue to rise 4 to 6 degrees C by 2050, 8 to 10 degrees C by 2100, with larger fires per acre, more flooding, etc. Solution is adaptive risk management, based on book by Paul Hawken called Drawdown. Some solutions: reduce food waste, educate girls, roof-top solar, onshore wind turbines. Then Mrs. Green (Gina) showed slides on a recent trip she made to the Amazon (Ecuador), to visit Achuar tribe (only 6,000 people left). She presented about how the tribe is trying to preserve their land, spiritual wisdom, cultural & shaman medicinal practices, trying to expand eco-tourism, to fight off oil drilling & rainforest destruction. About 15 people present at Delectables to hear these talks tonight.

    2. The real “climate reality” is that climate “change” is a lie. Why did it change from “global warming” to “climate change” when records showed the earth actually cooling?

      • So what you’re saying is that you’re not a scientist. Got it.

The earth is not warming, that’s a lie. And they changed the name to climate change because that’s a better term.

Hotter summers, bigger winter storms, everything predicted is coming true, because the climate is changing, we’re pushing it along faster than the earth can adapt. These are scientific facts.

You can deny facts, please do, deny that gravity is a fact and let’s see how high you float.

If you have any oceanfront property in Miami, I suggest you sell it. And stop listening to Hannity/Limbaugh/Beck and the rest, they’re paid by the fossil fuel industry to lie to you.

        Good luck in your denial.
