WHAT:
You are invited to the launch of a new way to facilitate collaborative/cooperative action among all activist groups in Tucson… a Tucson Activist Coalition/Congress!

WHY:
For decades the conservative right has been putting aside its differences and establishing a united front that has achieved the present state of EMERGENCY.

NOW it’s time for the other side of the coin to unite
(but you already knew that)

HOW:
The concept, tried and true, is that personal face-to-face relationships are what sustain resilient community.

The intention is to build a hub network of local activist organizations by establishing a regular assembly of their representatives and those of emerging groups, as well as individual efforts.

The purpose is to support collaboration and coordination of events and direct actions, and to expand outreach, resources, information sharing, recruitment, etc. In short

TO UNITE ALL TUCSON ACTIVIST ORGANIZATIONS INTO A POWERFUL COMMUNITY VOICE OF SOLIDARITY!

WHEN:
Thursday March 30th at 6 pm

WHERE:
In the first floor conference room of the Historic YWCA, 738 N. Fifth Avenueon the SW corner of University Blvd and 5th Ave. Enter through the courtyard opening onto University.

Thank you… and see you there.
