“One Arizona table partners are coming together Saturday, July 14th at 10:00 a.m. to announce this year’s voter registration efforts for the midterm elections. This year, One Arizona plans to register 200,000 new voters for these traditionally unpopular elections.
Join us at 10:00 a.m. for a press conference and launch into the field. Organizations participating in these efforts include: Mi Familia Vota,Planned Parenthood Arizona, Chispa AZ, CASE (Central Arizonans for a Sustainable Economy), Arizona Center for Empowerment, Puente Human Rights Movement, Arizona Students’ Association.
One Arizona was formed in 2010 as a direct response to the growing disenfranchisement of voters and to the attack on our Latino community in the form of SB1070. For 8 years now, One Arizona has worked under a successful collaborative format on civic engagement efforts in statewide and municipal election seasons. One Arizona’s table members represent a broad tapestry of 501(c)3 organizations focused on voter registration, voter engagement, voter mobilization, election protection, and issue advocacy.”
