Tucson, AZ 85701
Once again this summer, The Poetry Center will be hosting a series of summer socials in downtown Tucson. We hope you can join us! Help celebrate Tucson’s summer months through this short series that features local artists and writers in conversation about their work and our community. All are welcome to attend, and all events are free! Bring a friend or two and plan to grab a bite and a beverage with us downtown this summer: we promise great conversation and even better company. Each event will be held in the Copper Room at Hotel Congress.
June 18: Ken Lamberton
Join us as acclaimed author Ken Lamberton shares humorous stories from his forthcoming book, Chasing Arizona: One Man’s Year-Long Obsession with the Grand Canyon State. Lamberton visited 52 historic and landmark sites throughout the state in 52 weeks, documenting his adventures and discoveries. Be inspired for your next road trip!
