The annual Young Democrats of Arizona convention will take place in Phoenix on June 6th. UFCW’s Phoenix chapter, located at
2401 North Central Ave, Phoenix AZ, 85004 has graciously offered to host the Convention this year. All officer positions will be voted on during this election: this is the perfect time to get more involved with Young Democrats! Positions available include: President, Executive Vice President (must be from a different county than President), National Committeeman (must be different gender than EVP), Vice President of Fundraising, Vice President of Membership, Secretary, and Treasurer.

This year, YDAZ has worked with the College Democrats of America to establish the College Democrats of Arizona. Along with the YDAZ elections, we will also be hosting CDAZ elections. With CDAZ elections, it is a requirement that all officers be students at a college in Arizona. Positions available include: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

If you are interested in running for a position with either CDAZ or YDAZ, I ask that you please contact me directly stating your intention to run, and for what position you intend to run for to:

Additionally with Convention comes rechartering. The chartering packet is attached to this email, in both a Word doc and a PDF. and contains all pertinent information on how to re-charter, as well as all fees associated with chartering. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have regarding chartering.

At our convention, we will be discussing how to move forward and prepare for 2016, as well as discussing the Young Democrats of America National Convention in Los Angeles in August, and the delegate process associated with YDA-LA.
