SUMMARY:Edgar Soto\, candidate for LD 17 Senate at DGT
DESCRIPTION:by Carolyn Classen\, blogger \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheDGT.org Presents Edgar Soto for State Senate in LD17\n\n\n\nOctober 5 @ 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM MST \n\n\n\n“Join us for a timely conversation with Edgar Soto\, the Democratic candidate for State Senate in LD17\, about the state of his race and the sprint to the election on Nov. 3. Edgar will talk about what he’s hearing at the doors\, how Democrats can volunteer\, donate and engage with campaigns\, and answer your questions. Hear from one of the top recruits this cycle less than a month before Election Day! \n\n\n\nYou Must Register in Advance for This Event:\n\n\n\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/zjbAmiBrScWDRJUIHU4vsA \n\n\n\nEdgar is running for State Senate because he believes every Arizonan deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. For over 30 years at Pima Community College\, he’s helped students—from first-generation college students to working parents—build better lives through education. He’s seen what works and what doesn’t\, and he’s ready to bring real solutions to the Capitol. His priorities are simple: lower the cost of living\, strengthen public education\, support our veterans\, protect water resources\, and ensure safe\, thriving communities.” \n\n\n\nCarolyn’s note: Edgar ran for District 3 Pima County Supervisor in August 2024\, came in 2nd in a 4 way Dem race. He is running for the open State Senate seat in LD 17 against political newcomer Chris King (R).
