SUMMARY:Sara Williams\, candidate for P 3 Justice of the Peace at DGT
DESCRIPTION:by Carolyn Classen\, blogger \n\n\n\nTheDGT.org Presents Sara Williams for Justice of the Peace\n\n\n\nOctober 19 @ 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM MST \n\n\n\nJoin us for a conversation with Justice of the Peace Sara Williams\, who’s running for re-election in Precinct 3 based in Ajo\, to discuss housing rights\, criminal justice reform and the issues she’s focusing on in her candidacy. Sara is a Justice of the Peace\, a community advocate\, and a proud member of the Tohono O’odham Nation whose work is rooted in fairness\, dignity\, and service. She is the first Tohono O’odham elected Justice of the Peace for Pima County Precinct 3 and the first to serve as Presiding Justice of the Peace for Pima County. \n\n\n\nYou Must Register in Advance for This Event:\n\n\n\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/qMQKNt7AS7muSAPLwb6rAA \n\n\n\nSara serves one of Arizona’s most rural and culturally diverse regions — a community where people know one another\, where institutions carry deep meaning\, and where access to justice can shape the course of a life. Since taking office in 2023\, she has focused on strengthening the Ajo Justice Court and ensuring that every person who enters her courtroom is treated with dignity and given a meaningful opportunity to be heard. Her guiding belief is simple: justice should be accessible\, transparent\, and grounded in humanity. For her\, restoring fairness and due process is not an abstract goal — it is a promise to rural Arizona and the people she serves.
