I have been a resident of southeastern Pima County since 1995\, moving here to be closer to my mother in Green Valley. I live in a rural community with my daughter\, along with our dogs\, cats\, horses\, mules\, and chickens. With 42 years of experience as an Emergency Department RN\, including 19 years at a critical access hospital in Arizona\, I am deeply committed to serving our community.  \n\n\n\nI am running for office because I am tired of the chaos in our current Arizona State Legislature. Arizonans deserve better\, and I want to be the voice for the LD19 voters. My values reflect my capacity for empathy and my vision for humanity. I envision a better Arizona for all\, where everyone can achieve the life they dream of for themselves and their families. Justice\, truth\, and peace for all.  \n\n\n\nAs I embark on my campaign\, my top priorities are healthcare and public education. I am concerned about the access and affordability of healthcare\, especially with the upcoming Medicaid/AHCCCS cuts in 2026\, which threaten the services of critical access hospitals in District LD-19. Additionally\, I am focused on ensuring accountability in the AZ Voucher system\, making sure our tax dollars are truly benefiting our children’s education.” \n\n\n\nCarolyn’s note:  LD 19 House is currently represented by two incumbent Republicans\, Rep.
