DESCRIPTION:by Carolyn Classen\, blogger \n\n\n\nThree City of Tucson Council races will be decided today (hopefully depending on counting of provsional ballots) for Ward 3\, 5 and 6. \n\n\n\nWard 3 is represented by 1 term Democrat Kevin Dahl\, who faced a primary challenger (in the August 5 Dem primary) and now a Republican challenger. \n\n\n\nWard 5 was represented by Democrat Richard Fimbres\, who retired on May 1\, 2025 after being elected to 4 terms. A replacement Council member Rocque Perez II was appointed by the current Tucson City Council on May 6\, 2025.  3 Dem candidates faced off in the Primary. No L or R is running in this ward race. \n\n\n\nWard 6 is represented by appointed Democrat/former Ward 3 Councilwoman Karin Uhlich\, who is serving out the remainder of Steve Kozachik’s term.
