THIS issue is why I am a Republican. The visceral need of the Democrat Party to ban guns is something I will fight with every fiber of my being. When I mentioned in another posting how Democrats are good at taking small bites of the apple until the eat the whole thing, gun control is an excellent example. They know that can’t ban guns outright, so they take little peices of our rights under the 2nd Amendment at a time. In the past, everytime we compromised for “common sense” or “responsible solutions”, all that happened was more and more of our constitutional rights were chipped away. There is no further room for compromise.
