ThinkProgress lists 34 corporations that give perks to NRA members. Along with autormatic Gun Insurance ($5,000 for covered fatal accidents, $2,500 for gun theft, loss or damage) and a shooter's cap, members get discounts from companies like Hertz, National/Alamo/Enterprise, Avis, Wyndham Hotels (Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Ramada, Super 8 and more), FedEx, First National Bank of Omaha and many more.
Companies give discounts to lots of organization members, but it's time they take another look at the NRA which is blocking steps to lessen gun violence supported by large majorities of Americans. One company, Palo Alto Software, has withdrawn its partnership. Some people are trying to pressure Best Western and Wyndham “to get out of bed with the extremist NRA.”
