A round table discussion about the proposed Senate Bill 1249 “LGBTQ Anti Discrimination Bill.” SB 1249, if added to the budget bill and signed into law, would ban discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, protecting the LGBTQ individuals from being fired, denied housing or refused service. See the proposed bill (additions to the current statute in blue):
