Tuesday, January 7, 6:30 p.m.: Community Gun-Control and Mental-Health Forum, at The Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway Blvd. (Tucson). Join us on January 7th for a screening of Living for 32 with a panel discussion to follow. Colin Goddard will join the Tucson Chief of Police, Pima County Sheriff, representatives of the Mental Health service provider community, Mayor Rothschild and City Council member Steve Kozachik to discuss local initiatives related to mental health issues, background checks and other related topics. This forum is presented by The Loft Cinema, with support from Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Organizing for Action and the Tucson Coalition against Gun Violence. Marchers will gather at the University Of Arizona Mall on Jan. 20th at 8:30 a.m., by 9:00 a.m.the march will proceed south on Campbell Avenue and proceed to Reid Park Demister Center. Festival activities will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. thru 3:00 p.m. the days events will include a Dedication to Nelson Mandela.
