Annual St. Patricks’ Day Fundraiser

St.PatrickSunday, March 20, 1:00 p.m.: Legislative Districts 9 and 10 host the Annual St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser at the home of George and Margie Cunningham, 630 N. Alamo Avenue, Tucson, AZ. This is the annual political season kick-off event for Democratic candidates in Pima County. Tucson’s best corned beef & cabbage with all the fixings and side dishes, bountiful desserts, soft drinks and beer. Tickets are only $20 per adult if purchased in advance. Children 6-12 $10, under the age of 6 free. Ticket price goes up to $25 at the door, so purchase your tickets early. Sunday, March 20, 2:30 p.m.: President Bill Clinton will hold a Hillary Clinton campaign rally, at Sunnyside High School, 1725 E. Bilby Road, Tucson, with former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, Capt. Mark Kelly and former Congressman Ron Barber. Arizona has chosen to allocate all of its alternatives at the at-large level. District-level delegates shall be elected at a congressional district level caucus on April 16, 2016, following the Presidential Preference Election. Only elected and appointed precinct committeepersons in your congressional district who support your presidential preference (candidate) will be allowed to vote. All precinct committeepersons that wish to participate and district delegate candidates who filed their nomination form must register their attendance during the registration period of 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. A roster of precinct committee persons shall be available for inspection during the entire caucusing period. Monday, August 1: Deadline to register to vote in the Primary Election. Note: Those of you not registered with a political party will need to request a primary ballot for the party of your choice.

Wednesday, August 3: Early voting begins in the Primary Election.
