Saturday, May 20 – Sunday, May 21: The 22nd annual Fiesta del Mayo Celebration, one of Northern Arizona’s premier cultural attractions honoring and promoting the importance of history, diversity and cultural harmony,
on the 4th Street Corridor in the Greenlaw Village Shopping Center; May 20th & 21st, 2017 and will feature live music, a carnival, artisan craft booths, food vendors, and more! Arizona Democratic Party Sring State Committee Meeting – Tucson

Saturday, May 20, 8:45 a.m.: Arizona Democratic Pafty Spring State Committee Meeting, at Sunnyside High School, 1725 E. Bilby Rod, Tucson, AZ. Registration opens at 8:45 a.m. and closes at 1 p.m. Caucus meetings will occur during the morning and the plenary session begins at 1 p.m. Lunch hour at Noon. Please RSVP if you will be attending the meeting and especially if you wish to purchase lunch that is being arranged by the AAPI Caucus. The caucus meeting schedule is posted on the ADP website. There are proposed resolutions and bylaws changes that can be viewed on the website on the state party section. If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, please download and complete the proxy. During the morning from 9-11 a.m. there will also be a training for treasurers of all Democratic Party entities by ADP Treasurer Rick McGuire. Campaign finance laws have changed significantly since the last election cycle and it is highly recommended that all treasurers and chairs of the more than 80 Democratic clubs, caucuses, legislative districts and counties attend this session.

Drinking Liberally

Third Wednesday of each month, 6:00 p.m.: Drinking Liberally returns to Tucson, at Casa Vicente (375 S. Stone Avenue, Tucson, casavicente.com) whose gracious and helpful wait staff sets the table(s) for us. We need to know by the morning of each meeting approximately how many folks will attend.
